Hi Chris, thanks for the new books news! I've just heard that Joe Gores the writer and ex P.I. died last month aged 79. His 'prequel' to 'The Maltese Falcon' called 'Spade and Archer' is on my bookshelf and ripe for another reading.

This website got a mention last Saturday when my poem about Bogie (here on Fans Contributions) was broadcast on the BBC here in Liverpool. Same day on another UK BBC station, Radio 4, a new adaptation of
'The Big Sleep' was broadcast. Several more Raymond Chandler stories are to follow duting the next few months.
